when: September 3rd 2044

where: Xavier Institute's Garden
It was a beautiful Fall day, one that could even make a Summer's day turn sour in envy, the leaves having just recently turned from the shades of green common in the preceding time of year to an amalgamation of reds, yellows, and most commonly, oranges. This displayed the change of season very well, and symbolized the welcoming in of a certain mutant named Jimmy's favorite time of year.
Walking through the collection of trees and bushes that compromised the labyrinth that was the garden, Howlett let out a sigh of half-disappointment. One of the big pleasures of Fall, in his opinion, was getting to walk amongst the leaves and hear a satisfying crunch as they met with the under-side of his shoes. So the fact that there existed a disturbing lack of discarded plant greens littering the garden-floor was a saddening one.
He then took a leaf in hand, and commenced rubbing it between his thumb and index finger. While doing this, it was found that the dehydrated plant-matter began crumbling beneath the relatively small amount of pressure that Jimmy was applying. It would probably be a few more days before they would see much of anything making its way to the ground. Possibly about a week or two and there would be enough littering the ground beneath them to make piles out of, for usual Fall-time shenanigans.
His attention would be grabbed quickly, though, by a small sound that had been picked up by his hyper-keen ears. Not recognizing it as something an animal would make, a mischievous grin spread across his face, as it could only be one person to his knowledge making those sounds in the nearly deserted gardens. Why did he know? Well, because she was supposed to be in class, just as Jimmy was supposed to be in Literature with Miss Monroe. Normally skipping class was out of character for the feral, but today was special. He had yet to actually see his sexy little Russian since she enrolled, so a note had been left in locker, figuratively speaking.
It only took a few quick turns for Jimmy to hunt down his Ali-Cat, her back turned to him upon discovery, and so the surprise begins. Making a great leap, accompanied by a lion-like roar, the feral flew towards and play-tackled Aleigha to the ground, biting her neck in his oh so familiar way.
