In the year 2030 the world is a very different place.... Entire cities have been erased... Nature itself has gone mad--and even the most harmless of animals have become hideous beasts. No one was unaffected. No place was safe.

When the global economy collapsed in 2000 it left only five companies standing. Those companies eventually rose to power, tearing down the form of government we're familiar with, and replacing it with their own...
By 2009 these 5 companies, collectively known as The Powers, had control of the entire world. Two years later a the beginnings of a world war were sparked for the secret to creating super humans...
When the war finally did start in August of 2011, it was done like so many things The Powers did...underhanded, sneaky, and hidden from the public.
Each company created their own unique type of super humans to unleash on the others. Eventually, each of The Powers got the idea to destroy the source of their problems...the facilities their opponents used to manufacture these Meta Soldiers.
When the fights broke out inside the facilities sparks flew, containers were smashed, and then...there was The Boom.
Millions upon millions died...and even more around the world were changed into mutants, monsters, and superhumans entirely by accident and overnight, if not faster...
The next 17 years were mostly spent trying to survive, rebuild, get back some form of normalcy...but others went digging for the truth behind what happened the day of The Boom.
It is now 2030, and many possibilities await you...
Wonders and horrors fill this marred and mutated Earth...
